BoycottMulan trend gains momentum as Yifei Liu remains silent after supporting Hong Kong police
Kong have been ongoing for nearly 11 weeks, with it reaching it's pique after 5,000 protests led the airport to be shut down on Monday and Tuesday. The demonstrations are a response to a bill, which was ultimately shelved, would allow suspects accused of a crime inKong to be deported to Mainland China, where there is little diplomatic neutrality in the courts.
Though the bill was shot down, protesters now want there to be an investigation into police brutality. Officials have increased their force, shooting rubber bullets into crowds of demonstrators and dismissing tear gas inside subway stations.
