A Brisbane bus driver was threatened by a man with a tomahawk in the city's south-west last night.

Police say about 9.45pm the bus was parked at an interchange on Forest Lake Boulevard in Forest Lake when a man got on the bus. He threatened the 66-year-old male driver with a tomahawk, and pushed him several times in the chest before stealing cash.The terrifying attack was caught on CCTV. The offender is described as African in appearance, about 175cm tall, aged between 20 and 30, with a solid build. He was wearing a yellow hoodie, possibly hi-vis, and a black mask covering his face.© Nine Digital Pty Ltd 2019
