It seemed last year that far too many were matchups that looked good on paper when the schedule was made but turned out to be stinkers.
To the rescue comes Taylor Swift, who has turned into an NFL sideshow, or maybe more accurately, the league has gone into orbit around her. She attended Arrowhead Stadium several weeks ago for a game between the Chiefs and Chicago Bears in a suite next to Donna Kelce, the mom of Travis Kelce, who has struck up a friendship of some kind with Swift.
“He’s got quite a little bit of treatment on it and he’s feeling better, which is good,” Reid told reporters on Wednesday. “I’m just going to see, see how he moves around, see how he feels. He’s always been honest with me on things like that, and just see how he does.”Kelce missed the season-opening game and the Chiefs seemed to misfire throughout, eventually losing at home to the Detroit Lions. In the four games Kelce has played, he has 27 catches for 222 yards and three scores.
