The crime scene investigators forensically tested the blood and traced it back to the suspect
A bungling burglar was caught when police found droplets of his blood on the floor after he'd smashed a window by punching it to get in. Martin Taylor, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to his crimes at Nottingham Crown Court on Tuesday, March 5.
But in getting into the property he left some blood on the floor and on shards of glass. Police found it and told crime scene investigators, who attended and forensically tested it.
