Inchcape+, the official distributor for BYD electric commercial trucks in Singapore , has officially opened the BYD Commercial Mobility Hub . Situated on the third floor of Revv West Enterprise Hub at 1 Corporation Drive in Jurong, the hub will function as a showroom for BYD 's electric commercial vehicles and a platform to showcase and educate about BYD 's electric vehicle (EV) technologies. The facility aims to assist businesses interested in transitioning their fleets to electric vehicles.
Companies can visit the hub to learn about customized EV solutions tailored to their specific needs and have the opportunity to test drive BYD's electric truck offerings. Marking a significant step forward in promoting EV adoption, the grand opening event also witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Inchcape+ and ComfortDelgro. This collaboration will see Inchcape+ providing electric vehicle solutions to cater to diverse business operational requirements, while ComfortDelgro offers comprehensive consultation services to companies seeking guidance on EV infrastructure development, charging solution implementation, financing, and leasing options.In addition, BYD announced the official launch of the T9R electric heavy-duty truck at the event. Boasting an impressive electric driving range of 320km, the T9R can be charged from 20 to 80 percent in approximately an hour. Designed for high customizability to meet various operational needs, the T9R has garnered significant interest, with Inchcape+ previously revealing at last year's Singapore International Transportation and Commercial Expo (SITCE) that it has received 100 orders for the T9R across industries such as construction, logistics, and waste management
