In his opening season with the Houston Texans, C.J. Stroud is being recognized by the NFL for his impressive passes.

The former Ohio State star still hasn't thrown an interception in his first five NFL games. He's now thrown 186 passes without a pick, breakingThe Texans tweeted about Stroud's milestone once he broke Prescott's record in the third quarter of Houston's 21-19 loss to the Falcons. Stroud led a late touchdown drive to give the visitors a 19-18 lead, but Atlanta drove down for a game-winning field goal as time expired.
Stroud finished 20-of-35 for 249 yards and a touchdown pass. For the season, he's completing 61 percent of his passes and has thrown for 1,461 yards and seven touchdowns. It's cool. I got close a couple of times. Those DBs are really good. It's important to take care of the football. I don't think I've put it in harm's way too many times. I just want to let our offense know and let my coach know they can trust me with the football, because turning the ball over is a recipe to lose.
