BREAKING: California air regulators have approved an ambitious plan to drastically reduce reliance on fossil fuels by changing practices in the energy, transportation and agriculture sectors. Critics say it doesn’t go far enough to combat climate change.

The plan’s targets include having 10% of aviation fuel demand come from electric or hydrogen sources by 2045 and ensuring all medium-duty vehicles sold are zero-emission by 2040.
