The loved ones of four California family members who were kidnapped and murdered last week have described the tragedy as their 'American dream gone wrong.'
Jesus Salgado is the suspect in a central California case in which he allegedly kidnapped an 8-month-old girl, her mother, father and uncle from their business on Oct. 3, 2022, in Merced, California.Alberto Salgado was charged with criminal conspiracy, accessory and destroying evidence, according to the sheriff's office.
"Because of what he did to us, in his mind, he had to smarten up. He didn’t get away with it," one of the victims identified as Katrina told the Times.Now, the 48-year-old and his brother are accused of conspiring to kidnap and murder 8-month-old Aroohi Dheri; her mother, Jasleen Kaur; her father, Jasdeep Singh; and her uncle, Amandeep Singh. The family members disappeared on Monday.
