.camcountry to headline annual SoundOfSummer concert in Chicago benefitting SheIsTheMusic
Cam performs at c2c Country to Country at The O2 Arena on March 8, 2019 in London, England.Country singer-songwriterwill headline the fifth annual "Sound of Summer" charitable concert July 23 at the House of Blues Chicago with proceeds going to support She Is The Music .
Hosted by Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP’s Entertainment and Media Law Practice, the concert will also feature up-and-coming female artists Ness Heads and Zealyn.; her sound engineer, Jungle City Studios' Ann Mincieli; Universal Music Publishing Group chairman/CEO Jody Gerson; and WME partner and head of East Coast Music department Samantha Kirby Yoh.
The Annenberg Initiative, Billboard Media Group and Universal Music Group have since committed resources and support to the nonprofit which focuses on three initial pillars: all-female songwriting camps, an industry database of women creators and a mentorship program. In support of SITM, "Sound of Summer" has pledged to hire women for the event's key roles, in both front-of-house and back-of-house positions.
