Fans of the cancelled Netflix show Warrior Nun continue their international push for the series to be revived with a new billboard in Italy.
Warrior Nun fans continue their campaign to revive the cancelled Netflix series with a new digital billboard in Italy. The fantasy action series was axed by Netflix in December 2022, resulting in an outcry from dedicated fans who have spent 3 months trying to revive the show for a season 3.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY A post from Warrior Nun Italy on Twitter revealed that a new Warrior Nun digital billboard will be going up in Milan, Italy in the coming days. The billboard, which promotes hope for a Warrior Nun season 3, will go up on March 13 and stay on display until March 26. It will be viewable from 6:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day in that span of time. All The Warrior Nun Fan Campaign Has Done Despite the series having been cancelled back in December 2022, Warrior Nun fans have kept up an unyielding fight for the show to continue.
Warrior Nun creator Simon Barry has also been participating in the fight to save the series. Barry visited the #SaveWarriorNun LA billboard outside Netflix's headquarters in February, and has continued to approve of fan support for the series to be revived. When #SaveWarriorNun reached 10 million posts on Twitter, Barry released the script for a cut scene of Ava and Beatrice from season 2 episode 1, which teased the pair's romantic feelings for one another.
While it's still unclear if Netflix or another streaming platform will revive Warrior Nun for season 3, it doesn't seem like fans of the series will be stopping their campaign anytime soon. The new billboard in Italy is one of many the #SaveWarriorNun campaign has funded, meaning it's likely that plans for future billboards and large, public messages will continue in the coming months.
