The St. Louis Cardinals’ brutal season might’ve just hit rock bottom.

The team’s offense is eighth in baseball with a .754 OPS, but the team has struggled on the mound with the fifth-worst staters’ ERA at 4.96. To add injury to insult, veteran right-hander Adam Wainwright — who has a 7.66 ERA in 11 starts this year — has landed on the injured list with shoulder inflammation.Share this article:
