It cut a total of 76 jobs across the region.

SINGAPORE - Home-grown online marketplace Carousell cut 76 jobs on Dec 6, or 7 per cent of its total headcount, as part of efforts to reduce costs and reallocate resources.

The remaining cuts were spread across the seven other regional markets that the firm has a presence in, including Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. Carousell will also support the relocation needs of its foreign employees in Singapore, and ensure that they are able to serve their full notice, preserving their right to remain in the country unless they choose otherwise.
