The sports medicine program has three classes and requires students to take an internship in a medicinal field in their third year.
As junior at Catalina Foothills High School Magnus Johansson held his breath, a spirometer was reading his respiratory response.
At his games he’s used to seeing sports medicine professionals out on the field attending to injured players. “How your body operates and how it’s working to keep you alive everyday,” he said about the class this year.
