Celine Dion's inner circle has fired back at claims about Dion's best friend, Pepe Muñoz.

's inner circle has fired back at claims that Dion's best friend, dancer Pepe Muñoz, is "isolating her."article published on Monday alleged that those close to Dion feared Muñoz has had "too much influence" over the singer since her husband René Angélil's death. Citing the fact that some of Dion's senior team recently left, the story claimed that the dancer, who Dion has called her "best friend," has "fully taken over" Dion's career. The article also said that Dion is in love with Muñoz, but "knows he's gay and is accepting of it."
Dion addressed the article via Twitter on Wednesday morning with a note penned by the "real members" of her inner circle -- Dave, Dee, Denis, Lina, Michel, Naomi, Suzanne, Sydney, Sylvie and Yves -- stating that they were "saddened and disappointed" by the false rumors, and telling Muñoz "We love you!"
