The pair would take money from inmates and use it to buy the contraband, then bring it into the facility, according to state police.
Police have arrested two Chambersburg residents accused of working together to smuggle contraband into Franklin County Jail, where one of them was a corrections officer.
Investigators learned that 23-year-old Alando Ronaldo Wallace, a corrections officer at the facility, had smuggled “illicit contraband” into the facility and provided it to inmates, police said.
