Fans of a popular restaurant should not expect a new location until next year, the chain has said, despite planning approval.
According to the application an unnamed business, understood to be Nando’s, was “keen” to take the site over, but thought the space is too large.A Nando’s spokesperson said: “We’re due to open our new restaurant in 2024.
“We are still in the early stages of planning, so stay tuned for more details, but we would love to talk to any charities or community groups interested in teaming up with our No Chuckin' Our Chicken food donation and employer initiatives.The company has been asked for more information on when in 2024 it is expected to open.
