Chicago man charged with attempted kidnapping, fleeing from police in Evanston

The woman was able to escape and Saye fled. The woman gave police a description of Saye and his vehicle, which was put out via a radio flash, said the release.“She was a little in shock and does not want her personal information, such as her age, released,” said EPD Commander Ryan Glew. “I think it is understandable that a victim in a situation like this might be shaken up but she did not sustain any physical injuries.
Once the vehicle was stopped officers were able to take Saye, the only person in the vehicle, into custody without incident. Saye matched the description of the offender and was identified by the victim, the release said. It said Saye was taken to the Evanston Police Department for further investigation and there were not any injuries or traffic crashes as a result of the pursuit.
