China confirms an employee of the British Consulate in Hong Kong had been held in “administrative detention” by police in the southern city of Shenzhen
Simon Cheng, a Hong Kong citizen, had been given the punishment of 15 days in “administrative detention” by police in the southern city of Shenzhen, which abuts Hong Kong, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.
