SINGAPORE: China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Singapore, Malaysia and Cambodia this week, Beijing said on Wednesday as it seeks to build ties in the region.
Mr Wang will begin his visit in Singapore from Aug 10 to 11 at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, who will host him to dinner. The Chinese minister will separately call on Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Deputy Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, said Singapore’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
