CHP seeking drivers of two cars that struck, killed woman in Spring Valley [Breaking]
A woman died after she was struck by two vehicles in Spring Valley late Thursday, and neither driver stopped to help, a California Highway Patrol officer said.The 50-year-old woman was crossing Jamacha Boulevard near Lamplighter Village Drive about 9:55 p.m.
when she was struck by a red SUV heading west, Officer Matthew Baranowski said in a news release Friday.The woman was knocked to the ground, Baranowski said. While lying in the road, she was struck by silver sedan also headed west on Jamacha, Baranowski said.The woman died at the scene, Baranowski said.CHP officials asked anyone with information about the incident to call the El Cajon area office at 401-2000.
