Christian Wood: I Would Love To Play More - RealGM Wiretap
Christian Wood spent the last two seasons as a starter for the Houston Rockets. Now, he's coming off the bench again and it's been an adjustment for Wood.
The biggest issue for Wood seems to be playing time. After topping 30 minutes per game the last two seasons, Wood is playing 24.6 minutes per game for the Dallas Mavericks. For his part, Wood would like to play more. “I would love to play more. I’ve voiced that several times, but I just play my role," Wood said after playing a season-low 17 minutes on Sunday. The Mavs lost that contest to the shorthanded Denver Nuggets, with Wood taking just three shots in his 17 minutes off the Dallas bench.
