Flight delays are possible at SeaTac Airport and wintry travel can be expected over the passes of the Washington Cascades.As the cold front slides offshore Sunday, snow will end in New England, but lingering slippery roads can be expected.
The rest of the East should be dry, as will much of the nation's mid-section. Some gusty winds behind a cold front in the northern Plains and upper Midwest is the only minor travel concern.Rain and mountain snow may continue in the Pacific Northwest, primarily in western Oregon and western Washington. Snow may persist in inland parts of eastern Washington to the chimney of Idaho and western Montana.Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the Southeast from the coastal Carolinas to Florida.
