“Defense is the thing we work on in practice every day,” said Lee coach Je’Taime Silas. “We want to be multiple, playing man, zone, full court and half-court defense.” Je’Nyiah Silas, Je’Taime’s daughter, led the Generals with 20 points, 14 coming in the first half when she connected on four baskets from 3-point range. Those were the only 3-pointers for the Generals, making 4-of-19 in the game.Je’Nyiah Silas was the only Lee player in double-figures with 20 points, adding 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Her long-range shooting in the first half opened up the lane for teammates.
