Terry Francona's scooter has been found.
The scooter was reportedly stolen from outside of Francona’s downtown Cleveland apartment last weekend. It’s unclear who stole the scooter or what led to its disappearance, but Francona first realized his scooter was missing before the team’s fan festival on Saturday. Cleveland police then recovered the scooter on Tuesday night.
Francona, who will enter his 11th season leading the Guardians this spring, has been riding his scooter from his apartment to Progressive Field for years. Francona led the Guardians to a 92-70 record last season, his 10th with the franchise, and was named the AL Manager of the Year. The 63-year-old got the Guardians to the ALDS, though they fell to the New York Yankees in five games.Your browser does not support HTML5 audio.
