Cleveland Hopkins has created a second cell-phone lot for people picking up and dropping off passengers at the airport in an attempt to alleviate overcrowding on the roadways near the terminal.
CLEVELAND, Ohio –
Airport spokesman John Goersmeyer said the new lot is needed to alleviate overcrowding on the roadways and to prevent cars from spending too much time parked at the terminal when picking up and dropping off travelers. Parking has been extremely tight at Hopkins in recent months, in part because of ongoing construction on the Smart Parking Garage, which has removed 2,000 spaces from service.
