CLEVELAND, Ohio – Before the city rings in the New Year, Cleveland officials reminded residents Friday of the dangers of celebratory gunfire.
The city urged against celebrating New Year’s Eve, or any other occasion, with guns. It said in a statement that shots fired toward the sky could become dangerous or deadly. The city also advised that fireworks are illegal to possess and discharge without a permit in Cleveland.“Safety starts at home in your neighborhood,” the city said in a statement.
