WIMBLEDON, England—After twice coming just one point from going home, Cori “Coco” Gauff, 15 years old, defied belief and added to a new, but growing, legend at Wimbledon.
Gauff of the U.S. was down 6-3, 5-2, with 30-40 against Polona Hercog of Slovenia on Friday. Somehow, Gauff saved that match once, and then again.
