SINGAPORE – A construction worker died after he was struck by a concrete drain channel at a worksite in McNair Road on Oct 11.
The 38-year-old Bangladeshi was struck by a precast concrete drain channel that was being lifted by an excavator. He was pronounced dead at the scene by a paramedic from the Singapore Civil Defence Force.The developer for the project – which is understood to be the McNair Heights Build-To-Order project – is the Housing Board.
