When officers arrived at the building, they found a 43-year-old Turlock resident outside suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite paramedics’ and firefighters’ efforts, the man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police identified the family member as Israel Resendiz, and said he had been booked into Martinez county jail on suspicion of homicide.
