Coros has released a software update for the Apex and Vertix series watches, one that adds significant new features including turn-by-turn navigation.
User-made watch faces are the other highlight of the update. These are made in the Coros app, not on the watch itself, but you can use one of your own images for the background, and then choose the style of clock display to drop on top.
You’ll also be able to create custom workouts for Trail Running, setting goals and intervals, as you might with a “normal” run session. Specific for the trail crowd, you can set “elevation gain” as the workout target.Route creation has also been improved, as you can set “favorite” locations to speed up the process.
The Coros Apex Pro and Vertix are the oldest models to receive the new software, and were released back in 2019.
