Jesse and Deedee O’Dell visited their local café in Tulsa, in the US state of Oklahoma, and ordered the same drinks they’ve had almost daily for the past 16 years. “I ordered the iced Americano and my wife, she always gets the venti caramel frappuccino with the extra shot, and it’s usually around 9 to 10 bucks. An extra shot might raise it up to like $10.75,” Mr O’Dell told Fox23., and only realised the mistake several days later when their card declined while Mrs O’Dell was at the shops with their four kids.Their two coffees had totalled US$11.83 after tax, but a tip was left to the sum of $4444.44 – making the grand total $4,456.27 .
