With Michael B. Jordan confirming Creed 4, it can finally fix an Apollo Creed plot hole that has haunted the Creed franchise since it began.
While Creed 3 might have focused on laying the past to rest and embracing the future Adonis Creed has built for his family, Creed 4 still needs to fix one Apollo Creed plot hole. Creed 3 saw Donnie battling personal demons as he entered a title bout with Damian Anderson, a childhood friend with a chip on his shoulder after serving some time in prison for something Donnie instigated.
Creed 4 Must Bring Back Apollo Creed’s Other Kids It feels strange for Creed 3 to focus on Donnie and Mary Anne’s relationship, particularly in regard to his family whom she spends a lot of time, as though Apollo’s other children don’t exist. It can be assumed that they were at her funeral unseen, but there’s also a chance they weren’t, providing the opportunity for Donnie to find them and break the news of her passing.
