A customer was inspired by the service displayed by a deaf employee at a Subway outlet in Hillion Mall on Tuesday ."I asked the supervisor and he said that staff could not hear," she said."I think he can read too because after I figured out he was using hand gestures to communicate with the customers, I typed out 'cold cut trio', a Subway sandwich, on my iPhone and showed it to him to place my order and he understood.
"I think he was also working on a delivery order at the same time because I saw him refer to a receipt while preparing an order.""We should really celebrate those that overcome challenges that come with integrating into the workforce," she said."I really wish him all the best!"
