Damar Hamlin remains in critical condition at a Cincinnati hospital, the Bill organization said Thursday.
The family of Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin released a statement expressing their "sincere gratitude" for the outpouring of support that followed a terrifying scene in Cincinnati on Monday that has left Hamlin in critical condition.is awake and has shown "remarkable improvement" over the past 24 hours, his teammates said Thursday.
"Per the physicians caring for Damar Hamlin at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center, Damar has shown remarkable improvement over the past 24 hours," the statement reads. "While still critically ill, he has demonstrated that he appears to be neurologically intact. His lungs continue to heal and he is making steady progress."
