Deloitte Singapore is moving a portion of its workforce to a co-working space at Orchard Point from September as its lease at OUE Downtown expires at the end of 2026. The move aligns with the firm's workplace growth strategy and its plan to add 3,000 new hires over five years.
Deloitte Singapore is relocating a portion of its employees to JustCo Place's co-working space at Orchard Point starting in September. This transition occurs as the company's lease at OUE Downtown-where it has been based for over a decade-is set to expire at the end of 2026.
While the firm did not disclose specifics regarding the lease terms at either location, staff numbers, or rental costs, JustCo's executive chairman and CEO Kong Wan Sing revealed during a July 7 media briefing that the new co-working space can host between 1,000 and 1,200 workstations, with an average lease term of 15 months. According to Deloitte, the shift is part of its ongoing workplace growth strategy.
This move follows the company's 2023 announcement of plans to hire approximately 3,000 additional employees over the next five years, with around 70% of those roles expected to be in consulting, risk advisory, financial advisory, and assurance services. The decision reflects broader trends in corporate real estate, where firms increasingly adopt flexible workspace solutions to accommodate evolving workforce models and expansion goals
