: Only 10 candidates in the crowded field of Democratic presidential hopefuls appear to qualify for the next televised debate on Sept. 12, all of whom will share the same stage for the first time instead of being divided into groups on two different nights.
Only candidates who raised money from 130,000 unique donors and received 2% or more in at least four party-approved polls qualified for the debate. Billionaire Tom Steyer and Rep. Tulsi Gabbard reached the donor threshold, but did not earn enough support in qualifying polls. out of the race Wednesday night after failing to make it into the debate. ABC News
