Ford will introduce the facelifted F-150 at the Detroit Auto Show, while Jeep could unveil an updated Gladiator
is less than two weeks away and we’re starting to learn more about what will debut in the Motor City.
Despite hyping the show as bigger and better than last year, organizers released the press conference schedule and it’s a relative ghost town as only a handful of brands will have something new to present.. Undisguised prototypes have been spotted in recent weeks and the truck will benefit from a mild refresh that includes the usual styling tweaks as well as an updated interior.
The show will then begin in earnest on September 13 with debuts from Cadillac, GMC, and Jeep. We can’t tell you what GM has planned, but Jeep will likely introduce the facelifted Gladiator. The model will follow in the footsteps of theRam is notably absent from the list, but the company’s previously announced debut could be the. That remains to be seen, but the special edition is the last hurrah for the 702 hp pickup – at least for now.
Aside from traditional automotive brands, Alef Aeronautics will apparently showcase their Model A flying car that can “drive on the street, take off vertically when needed and… still fit in a regular-sized driving lane, parking space and garage.” That’s the Detroit Auto Show in a nutshell and it sounds pretty lackluster, especially after an action-packed
