ON Entertainment, provided over by Rassam and longtime associate Aton Soumache, is best known for producing the animated feature “The Little Prince,” which opened at Cannes in 2015 and grossed more than $100 million worldwide. He is now producing “Playmobil,” the ’toon feature based on the iconic toy brand.
Through his banner Chapter 2, Rassam also produced “Escobar: Paradise Lost,” starring Benicio Del Toro as drug lord Pablo Escobar, and myriad French films, including the box-office smash “What’s In a Name?” and “Le Brio,” which Rassam is currently remaking in the U.S. with Get Lifted Film Company and Endeavor Content. Splitting his time between Paris and Los Angeles, Rassam is developing Pawel Pawlikowski’s $20 million biopic “Limonov” with Wildside, among other projects.
