There is no feeling quite like witnessing a patient return to health, says Dr. Mike Moser, a Saskatoon kidney transplant surgeon.

“I think what’s even more exciting is when you go and you see the patient the next morning in the recovery room, you just see how quickly the change has happened,” Moser added. “These are people who have been on the waitlist on average two and a half years, sometimes four years, sometimes seven years.”
