A big-hearted rescue dog had an unexpectedly hilarious reaction after catching sight of his own reflection.Scientists have long queried whether dogs are capable of fully understanding the concept of a mirror.In 2011, a study published in the Journal of Veterinary Behavior saw researchers conduct an experiment involving 40 dogs to test whether canines were able to understand the concept of reflection.Each dog entered a room containing a large mirror that was covered over.
'Salad loves attention,' his owner said. 'he herds us a lot like cattle and always watches the room, but he also is lazy and loves to eat ice cubes.'Salad lives with two cat friends but struggles with other dogs because he's not all that keen on sharing the limelight. 'He likes to be chased instead of playing fetch, and he loves being the center of attention,' Salad's owner said. 'Basically, he's a toddler.
