Doja Cat tweeted about her upcoming album and why she's done making pop music:
One person responded to Doja saying they hope the “comments are not the only thing that pushed” Doja to “go full rap.” In response, Doja said, “pop isnt exciting to me anymore. I dont wanna make it.”in a tweet that there would be 10 tracks total plus five extras.in a recent interview that her next era would be “going in a more masculine direction.”
“I know that I’ve done a lot of pink and soft things, a lot of pop and glittery sounds,” Doja said, before saying that the new album would be anything but that., was released in 2021 and solidified her status as one of the biggest recording artists. She’s collaborated with the likes of SZA, Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, and more. As for her forthcoming rap album, we’ll have to see who she features.
