OSHA claims issues at a Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania, store are similar to those found nationwide.
JERSEY SHORE – Dollar General is contesting the Occupational Safety and Health Administration citations and proposed $245,544 penalty for alleged safety violations at one of its stores in Lycoming County.
“Exposing employees to these hazards can be dangerous, especially in an emergency,” said OSHA area director Mary Reynolds in Wilkes-Barre. The nationwide discount retail chain’s has a long history of federal workplace safety violations, according to OSHA, which added that these have generated $15 million in penalties since 2017.
