Dow sees triple-digit rebound after latest Trump assertion on China trade talks
U.S. stocks opened higher on Monday after President Donald Trump said Beijing was interested in going back to the negotiating table, bolstering hopes for an easing of trade tensions. The S&P 500 SPX, +0.42% rose 0.8% to 2,870. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.45% advanced 276 points, or 1%, to around 25,905. The Nasdaq Composite COMP, +0.59% climbed 1% to 7,830.
