A new book spotlighting Texas' best dive bars includes San Antonio's downtown dive bar Texas T Pub.
San Antonio’s best dive bar food menu is at Oak Hills Tavern in the Medical Center. Duck confit, y’allAdela Fuller is the owner of the Texas T Pub in downtown San Antonio. Kirk Weddle and Anthony Head have collaborated on the book"Texas Dives: Enduring Neighborhood Bars of the Lone Star State," which showcases the bar.
The Texas T Pub has pool tables and is a popular and affordable downtown bar that dates back to 1986.Head and Weddle discovered the bar a few years ago when they ducked out of a convention to grab a drink. At Texas T, they found love, they found ambiance, and they found Kitty Cat, the bar cat who wanders among the tables looking for attention.
