The crash occurred Wednesday on Route 55 in Cumberland County.
A Bridgeton man was killed Wednesday when his car careened off Route 55, crossed a grass median and collided with an oncoming SUV in Cumberland County, police said.
Ludwig Buch, 27, was driving north on Route 55 in Vineland near Weymouth Road around 5:20 p.m. when his vehicle hit the southbound SUV, according to a New Jersey State Police spokesman.The incident remains under investigation. The southbound lanes of Route 55 were closed for about four hours, while the northbound lanes were closed for about an hour as a result of the crash, police said.
