The Prisons vehicle was transporting inmates and escorting officers from the Changi Prison Complex to the Changi General Hospital for the inmates’ medical appointments, said SPS. A video of the accident, posted on Facebook group SG Road Vigilante, shows an item being flung onto the road as a result of the impact. The item landed near a taxi travelling in front of the car involved in the accident.
