The condition of the driver who caused the crash is unknown.

A man died after another driver went through a York County stop sign without stopping and crashed into his vehicle, authorities said.

The man who was killed — who hasn’t yet been publicly identified — was driving a GMC Canyon south on Route 74 in Chanceford Township when the crash happened around 4:22 p.m., according to York County Coroner Pamela Gay. Gay said someone driving a Subaru Legacy went through the stop sign and crashed into the Canyon. The Canyon’s driver was taken to WellSpan York Hospital in critical condition, and pronounced dead at 5:33 p.m.Gay said an autopsy is scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday at Lehigh Valley Hospital in Allentown. More information is expected to be released once the man’s family has been notified.
