A 21-year-old female passenger was killed in a collision on the Northwest Side. The driver of the other vehicle is facing intoxication manslaughter charges, San Antonio police say.
Drunken driving was blamed for three overnight accidents, including one that killed a 21-year-old woman.
The woman was in the front passenger seat of the second vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene. No information was provided about the driver of that auto. In that case, the driver of a 2004 Ford F-150 was traveling south on Military Drive. The driver turned in front of a 2020 Dodge Challenger heading north on Military Drive and collided with it, according to the preliminary report. Three people in the Dodge were injured and taken to University Hospital, including a 14-year-old girl, whose left femur was fractured, police said.
