Join Lakewood Brewing this Saturday for the release of their new beer made with local honey from Bee Sweet Honey. From 2 to 5 p.m., they're hosting a bee clinic; you can . Proceeds from each can sold will benefit Amy's Wish With Wings, which provides equine therapy for kids.Strassen Beerfest at Texas Rangers Plaza. More than 30 local breweries and vendors will be there, along with live music and drinking games. Know who won't be there? Kids. It's 21 and over only. A highlight reel of local breweries includes Rahr, Texas Ale Project, Lakewood Brewing, Martin House, Odd Muse and Manhattan Project. There are two levels of tickets: the beer baron ticket gets you about 4.5 pints of beer, a custom mug and two passes to food stands, plus access to VIP hoopla.
