FromSoftware has released a new patch for ELDENRING bringing fixes to graphical issues and crashes on PC and saving improvements on PlayStation 5.
A new update for Elden Ring has been released, bringing major fixes for errors like undetected PC GPUs, a bug that would cause games to crash during the Fire Giant boss battle, and much more. FromSoftware's much-anticipated role-playing game Elden Ring launched last week after gathering and building nonstop speculation and hype from excited fans for years.
With a near-perfect launch, Elden Ring peaked at more than 800,000 players on Steam but was shortly met with angry players who review bombed the title on Steam largely due to stuttering issues, frame rate drops, and apparent crashes. Upon release, Elden Ring carried"Mixed" reviews on Steam despite being one of the best-rated games of all time, with more than 40% of its reviews on the platform being negative.
Elden Ring is wildly regarded as a gaming masterpiece and while the title has suffered several technical issues, it is a high contender for 2022's game of the year. Players can finally enjoy the much-anticipated role-playing game at its fullest, as the latest 1.02.2 patch is officially out, with many more updates on the way in the future.Elden Ring is available now on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
